Foster Care Awareness Month

CLIENT: The MENTOR Network works nationwide to serve vulnerable populations. One arm of their organization focuses on finding foster homes from at-risk youth and medically fragile children. National Foster Care Awareness Month provides an opportunity each May to recognize foster parents, also called "Mentors," who open their homes to children in need. I created a suite of digital banners and social media images to run throughout the month. Foster parents come in all shapes and sizes. To reach and represent a wide audience, I employed bright iconography to represent the emotions, connections and rewards of the foster parent experience. Alongside the celebratory messaging, I also developed infographics and animated web ads (in conjunction with an animated video created by Planet Nutshell) as part of our foster parent outreach campaign
